Global Machinery Solutions Ltd is a well-established and well-known machinery dealer and supplier in the UK and Western Europe, and is currently a leading name in the Forestry, Recycling, Construction, Aggregate, and Confi-shred market sectors.

Due to continued business expansion and recent relocation to our HQ in Long-Bennington, we are seeking to recruit a Yard Operative

Duties and Responsibilities:-

· Yard housekeeping

· Assisting with loading and unloading of palletised loads

· General depot repairs & maintenance (painting/decorating etc)

· Assisting engineers with machinery repairs where required (based at our yard)

· Adhering to Health and Safety at all times

· Cleaning and preparing machines for delivery.

· Opportunity to deliver and hand over machines.

· Working Outside

Some manual work will be required; therefore the successful applicant must be capable of undertaking these responsibilities.

Must Haves/Desirables:

· Forklift Licence (although not essential)

· Motivated self-starter

· Good communication skills

Benefits:

· Can be flexible, although ideally working 3 days a week or somebody full time Monday – Friday.

Location

· The candidate will be expected to report to our Long Bennington, Nr Newark depot.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
