We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work as an integral part of the warehouse team processing shipments. This is a great opportunity to join a highly experienced team and develop your skills in a secure and regulated environment.
Location: Heston
Shifts: 07:00 - 19:00 4 on - 4 off
What will you be doing?
Receiving outbound and inbound export and import freight, booking in of freight (using GXD system)
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using forklift truck
- Use handheld scanners as part of the warehouse management system
- Frequently complete manual handling tasks, use all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) as trained.
About You
Previous experience of working in an airfreight warehouse environment
- Good understanding of written and spoken English Basic mathematical skills
- Basic geographical knowledge
- Minimum Cargo Operative Screener AVSEC training (Can complete in house),
- Counterbalance forklift (Essential)
- Reach forklift (Desirable)
- 5 year checkable history.
