Before and After School Club Assistant with recent experience of working with primary aged children, a good understanding of safeguarding and the ability to work independently is required to join a well-established Academy Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.

SALARY: £20,812 per annum FTE / Actual Annual Salary £10,854 per annum

LOCATION: Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent (Term Time Only)

WORKING HOURS: 22.5 Hours per Week, 7.30am to 9.00am (before school care) and 3.00pm to 6.00pm (after school care) Monday to Friday. Term Time only (39 weeks)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring Before and After School Club Assistant with recent experience of working with primary aged children, a good understanding of safeguarding and the ability to work independently.

Working as the Before and After School Club Assistant you will be supervising a range of fun, safe and exciting activities along with the other team members.

As the Before and After School Club Assistant you will assist in providing food to the children during their time in the Club.

The successful Before and After School Club Assistant will have:

Relevant and recent experience of working with primary age children

Support with planning and organising provision for children

Have a good understanding of safeguarding

Be professional and act with integrity

Be a good team player, while being able to work independently
