37 hours per week full time (24-28 hours per week would be considered)
A rare opportunity to join an innovative and forward thinking local Charity. The successful applicant will be responsible for the selection and recruitment of volunteers, ensuring volunteers are trained and monitored. The role also involves tracking the progress of volunteers to ensure they are meeting quality standards and progressing as expected whilst giving them support and constructive feedback. This role is also responsible for ongoing training of existing staff and volunteers. Travel between our 2 offices in Beeston and Eastwood is required as the role covers both sites.
If you wish to be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills-
● Be able to demonstrate good teamwork skills as you will be working closely with Managers and Supervisors
● Be able to support and monitor volunteers through a training programme
● Good communication skills
● Ability to write reports and revamp policies and procedures
● Good standard of IT experience
● An understanding of the issues our clients face
● Able to prioritise own workload and that of others
● Previous trainer and/or adviser experience desirable but not essential
