Our company is looking to fill the position of an English Wine Tasting & Tour Guide. A successful candidate will be knowledgeable, friendly, positive and able to lead groups of up to 25 wine loving guests that will depart from central London. For guests, the wine tour will include 3 vineyards, 11- 12 wines, lunch with wine and return back to London by luxury coach. As a wine tour guide you will be the glue that brings everyone together and will tell about the history of English Wine, how it started and where its going as an industry. You may be required to do public tours and private wine tours. Excellent communication, ability and eagerness to learn about English Wine and leadership skills are an absolute requirement for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Guide groups on tours around English vineyards.
• Must educate guests about the history of English wine and viticulture
• Don't leave any one, keep time, and make sure guests are happy (service!!)
• May be required to lead a tasting of 6 wines at one vineyard, while other tastings will be done by the producer or vineyard staff
• Depart with guests from London at 9am, return back to central London by 18:15
• Most private wine tour work is on the weekends, Saturday or Sunday, corporates are mid-week.

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: £150.00 per day

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
