As the founding school of Solent Academies Trust, Mary Rose is a consistently 'Outstanding' Specialist Sports College which caters for pupils aged 3-19. All pupils attending Mary Rose have profound or severe learning difficulties alongside a diverse range of diagnoses and needs, including Autism and highly complex medical conditions.
A fantastic opportunity has become available to recruit a passionate, creative, and skillful Music Therapist to guide, support and develop our pupils. Providing opportunities of musical engagement with a therapeutic and holistic approach, enabling our pupils to achieve their full potential.
You will be expected to work collaboratively within a Multidisciplinary Team with associated professionals including the parents and carers of our pupils.
The successful candidate will have a recognised diploma/degree in Music Therapy; be HCPC registered and adhere to the standards for registration to the Health and Care Professions Council and be a member of the British Association for Music Therapy.
Experience in supporting young people with Autism and special school experience is essential.

The hours for these roles will be worked over 3 to 4 days, hours to be agreed.
You will work for 39 weeks of the year; however, you will be paid for 45.1 weeks. Your salary will be paid over 12 months of the year.
