We are recruiting for and outstanding Physics Tutor who can teach pupils through a range of ages and abilities.
You will work with students requiring additional support or preparing for GCSE, AS and A Level examinations in Physics, and additionally be able to support students preparing for university.
There will be a range of opportunities within Harrow School Online, including delivering tutoring, revision sessions and teaching Tutor led Physics International Edexcel A level courses.
THE ROLE OF A TUTOR AT HARROW SCHOOL ONLINE
Harrow School Online is a new kind of school offering a fully online A level education, allowing pupils across the globe to enjoy the benefits of virtual learning and an international school community without leaving their homes. Our School is founded on the educational philosophy, practices and traditions of Harrow School, and delivered by Pearson through a bespoke online platform. As a Tutor you will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality 1:1 to 1:3 tutoring and teaching sessions. You will be working with students situated in the UK and across the world aged 11 to 21.
WHAT WILL A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE LOOK LIKE?
You will be a dynamic and effective Tutor who is able to engage, support and motivate pupils in online tuition sessions. We are looking for experienced and qualified educators with a proven tutoring track record and passion for Physics. All members of the tutor team are expected to conduct themselves in line with the school’s values: Courage, Honour, Humility and Fellowship.

ABOUT HARROW SCHOOL ONLINE
Harrow School Online is a fully online, coeducational sixth form school offering an A level education to allow pupils across the globe to enjoy the benefits of virtual learning without leaving their homes. It was developed prior to the current pandemic through a collaboration between Harrow School (via its trading subsidiary, Harrow School Enterprises Ltd) and Pearson, and launched for first teaching in September 2021. The school delivers the core curriculum through a combination of professionally authored self-study materials, targeted classroom lessons and one-to-one support sessions. Pupils are additionally engaged in a wide range of co-curricular opportunities, ensuring they receive a full and varied education. Our tutoring programme is a new addition to our Harrow School Online ancillary learning services. We will be offering supplementary one to one tuition to the same high standards as for our full school programme, drawing on the technology expertise and study materials that are used by pupils at Harrow School Online to support our high quality tutoring provision.
