Job Title : Workday Functional Analyst - Compensation

Location: GSK house , Brentford UK

Job Purpose

A Workday Compensation Specialist is required to work within the Global HR Tech Workday team which delivers change in the Compensation space for GSK.

The successful candidate will have over couple of years of Workday configuration experience in supporting and developing Workday solutions using varied technologies, ideally with in-depth knowledge of Advanced Compensation in Workday. They will be familiar with Agile ways of working and managing a backlog of items in their specialist area. Knowledge of Benefits, Talent and Performance areas would be a plus.

Key responsibilities

  • The person will report to the Workday Compensation and Talent Product Owner and will provide a variety of Workday support including troubleshooting and resolving BAU issues, as well as building and testing enhancements.
  • To consult with customers to confirm requirements and manage implementation timelines.
  • There will also be project work that requires the development, testing and cutover of new Workday solutions.
  • They will possess sound business acumen and will be familiar with HR and Payroll business processes.
  • Demonstrable technical knowledge and understanding and the ability to operate throughout the change and delivery lifecycle designing, building, and testing solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Workday core compensation and advanced compensation functionality, configuration, and business process design.
  • Experience in Workday Performance Management is desirable.
  • Some relevant years of experience working with Workday compensation, supporting the implementation and business as usual operation of the Workday product in a global organization including the completion of at least two advanced compensation cycles for merit and bonus.
  • Prior experience contributing to the design of Workday compensation reports and dashboards is desirable.
  • Strong communication and change management skills with an ability to work virtually over multiple time zones and cultures.
