Are you committed to providing a service that meets the needs of children, whilst ensuring that their welfare is promoted and that they are safeguarded effectively?
We are looking to recruit Family Support Workers across Norfolk to join our new Community Assessment and Family Time Service with the aim to enable more children to remain at home safely with their families.
As a Family Support Worker, you will provide supervision and support to children and their families in their own homes as part of an 8-week assessment. Working as part of the Community Assessment Team, you will safeguard children and provide families with guidance, role-modelling and support, as directed by the assessing Social Worker.

You will have experience of working with families in their own home as a Nursery Nurse, Support Worker, Early Years Practitioner, Residential Support Worker, Home visiting volunteer, Family Outreach Worker or similar role.
With an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject, you will be willing to undertake Signs of Safety, Restorative Practice and Solihull training in your first year. You will have a good knowledge of child development from birth to 19 and of factors which impede overall development.
