My client is one of the market leaders within its food sector and has just recently won a new project which means the business will grow considerably over the next few years. Right now this means they are seeking a supply chain planner to join the team.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Delivering strong stock availability efficient stock holding and effective planning of stock movement and packing to fulfil orders to our global customers
- Supporting the team in the development of the Forecast and creating an appropriate Demand Plan to maintain inventory at an agreed level
- Deliver the activities of the Planning team, ensuring focus on the short / medium / long term objectives of the business, including strong availability, efficient stock holding and minimal waste
- Work independently to facilitate planning for all business units, globally (UK, EU, UAE, USA, AUS) as required under strategic direction of Head of Ops (planning)
- Work effectively across Operations and the wider business to maintain forecasts and plan start-up, ongoing running and run-down of all projects
The successful candidate will have:
- Supply &/or Demand Planning experience, ideally within the food or consumer industry
- Strong interpersonal skills, a supportive team player, that is personable with a proven can-do attitude and able to work to own initiative
- Experience working with ERP systems & excel, Navision or AX Dynamics 365 desirable.
- A quick learner, high attention to detail and accuracy skills
On offer to the candidate:
- Up to £40,000
- Based in Windsor / Heston - 3 days a week in the office
