Full time teaching post with TLR2b - required for September 2023
The Governors are looking to appoint a hard-working, inspiring and talented Science teacher to join our existing team and help take St Oscar Romero Catholic School into the next chapter of its exciting journey. Our school has been on a rapid journey of improvement, something that was recognised in July 2019 when our school was judged outstanding in all categories in its Diocesan Section 48 inspection. Our exam results in Science this year were exceptional, with 92% of all students passing Science. Our challenge this year is to improve even further on that.
The role of Second in Science is fundamental to the schools and department’s vision and future success. The Science department is a creative and energetic team, who are always looking for new ways to deliver the curriculum that excite, stretch and provoke curiosity in our students. Their excellent results are evidence of their deep commitment to our students. We are seeking to recruit a new leader within the Science department that will bring spark, energy and empathy to the department as it continues on its quest to be the best school in the country.
If you have a passion to see young people succeed, are motivated and resilient and support our Catholic ethos, please download an application pack from our website www.stromeros.co.uk.
