Full time teaching post - required from September 2023

The Governors are looking to appoint a hard-working, inspiring and talented Modern Foreign Languages teacher to join our existing team and help take St Oscar Romero Catholic School into the next chapter of its exciting journey. Our school has been on a rapid journey of improvement, something that was recognised in July 2019 when our school was judged outstanding in all categories in its Diocesan Section 48 inspection. Our exam results in Modern Foreign Languages this year were exceptional, with 79% of all students passing French and 89% passing Spanish. Our challenge this year is to improve even further on that.
The Modern Foreign Languages department is a creative and energetic team, who are always looking for new ways to deliver the curriculum that excite, stretch and provoke curiosity in our students. Their excellent results are evidence of their deep commitment to our students. We are seeking to recruit a new member of the Modern Foreign Languages team that will bring spark, energy and empathy to the department as it continues on its quest to be the best school in the country. We would be happy to receive applications from NQTs. Alternatively, there is the possibility of a TLR and Second in department responsibility for the right candidate.
If you have a passion to see young people succeed, are motivated and resilient and support our Catholic ethos, please download an application pack from our website www.stromeros.co.uk. Please only use the application form included in the pack and follow the instructions on how to apply which can be found in the introductory letter.
