At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our Kitchen Team

We are offering £20.00 per hour plus service charge and paid overtime!

As Junior Sous Chef you will be accountable for the Banqueting kitchen and Canteen operation including production, cleanliness, and safe systems of work in a single kitchen and deputises in the absence of the Head Chef. You will work alongside the team and ensure the food is received by the guest in a timely manner to the quality expected.

To succeed as a Junior Sous Chef, you will need:

  • To have managed various sections of a kitchen for 3 or more years within a global hotel brand or restaurant of the same classification / cuisine (as minimum) with comparable size and complexity
  • Junior Sous Chef must be experienced in local cuisine and have supported across a variety of service styles that may include catering meetings, social events, restaurants, and bars
  • As a minimum, must have completed level 2 Food Safety certification and working knowledge of HACCP
  • Has knowledge of appropriate (IHG brand) standards relating to food and the ability to create and deliver appropriate dishes to meet guest requests and needs
