Working on a hybrid basis in Warton, a Systems Development Engineer is required on a 12-month initial contract to support one of our largest aerospace clients.

You will work as part of the Systems Development Team to design and develop the architecture and specification of a new project.

As a member of the MIDAS System Development team, you will be responsible for the development of the MIDAS systems architecture and components for the core MIDAS product and its exploitations.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience of using Cameo MBSE tool or similar is preferable.
• Working knowledge of UML/SysML.
• Specific / general Mission System domain knowledge would be advantageous.
• You must be a degree qualified engineer in one of the STEM disciplines or equivalent preferably with a Systems and or Software Engineering background.
• A working knowledge of the engineering lifecycle.
• Knowledge and experience in Object Oriented design and Model Based engineering tools and techniques would be advantageous.
• Demonstrate an ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Quick learner & self-starter.
• Participate in continuous process improvement
