We appreciate our staff and are proud that we offer our Social Workers and Support Workers in Kinship and Fostering training in DDP Level 1 and 2. Our foster carers receive specialist training in PACEwhich recognises trauma children have experienced and is a way of thinking, feeling, communicating and behaving that aims to make the child(ren) feel safe.

Our Offer
As a SWE registered social worker you will possess extensive post qualification experience in children’s services. An analytical mind and ability to evidence knowledge and experience of undertaking complex assessment work. You will be in a role where a sound working knowledge of safeguarding is required.
You will have evidenced experience of professional and personal development and be looking to build upon this and further your career aspirations within an innovative and truly supportive environment.
This role will involve a mixture of home working and visits in the community, which can be discussed further at interview, as our requirements will vary, depending on the types of Kinship and Fostering social work service you are delivering.

If you are an internal employee your substantive manager must agree to you transferring to the secondment role. This agreement must be sought in principle before applying for the seconded role. If the secondment will impact significantly on service delivery, your substantive manager may not agree to the secondment.
