We are currently recruiting a Level 2 Social worker to work within the arena of Adult Social care within the Stafford District. The position is within the Older persons with physical disability team which is a community based team working with Adults over 18 years of age with a range of physical and Mental health needs.
The level 2 position will be in recognition of your experience within social care including experience with Adult safeguarding, Care Act Assessments and Mental Capacity assessments, ideally with 2 years post qualifying experience and completion of ASYE or equivalent.

Social Work Learning Academy (SWLA)
On appointment, the post holder will be auto-enrolled in the SWLA and aligned to the appropriate British Association of Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework. The relevant SWLA ‘stage’ (i.e. stage 1 (ASYE), 2 (Social Worker) or 3 (Advanced Social Worker) will also be agreed taking all prior Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and relevant experience into consideration. The post holder will be required to take responsibility for their own Continuous Professional Development.
