Oldham Council is currently hiring Fostering Social Workers to join their dedicated Fostering Team. In this role, you will provide essential support and supervision to mainstream Foster Carers and Connected Carers. You will be able to specialise in either mainstream or kinship carer work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of Foster Carers, offering support and supervision.
• Conducting Form F and Form C Assessments, as well as initial Kinship Viabilities and Regulation 24 Assessments.
• Participating in duty service coverage during office hours, including handling inquiries from the public regarding becoming a Foster Carer.

Requirements:

• 2 years post qualifying experience
• SWE registered
• Experience within a fostering team is appreciated but not essential
