We have an exciting opportunity to join our in-house marketing team as a Social Media & Creative Executive, where you’ll play a key role in delivering our social media strategy and creative content for Maze (Trade) and Maze Living (Retail) brands.

The successful creative individual will be adept at using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) and experienced with After Effects and/or Premiere Pro would be advantageous. They will be responsible for creating visually compelling content for our social media outlets, help develop email marketing campaigns and company advertising.

This is a fast-paced role where you will be supported by our Marketing Team and can work proactively, with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your skillset. We want you to bring your creativity to this role and have fun testing new approaches to continue developing our brand, working on new and existing concepts.

This role suits someone who has worked in a digital design role in the past and also has planned / managed social calendars.

  • Be able to manage social accounts and familiar with Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn / Pinterest
  • Create and develop video, graphics, and other media content for web and social
  • Create both online and offline design, campaign mailers and other collateral
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with events and other digital / print materials
  • Create templated and one-off designs to support social media strategy and campaigns
  • Updating visuals for online and social campaigns
  • Liaise with influencers to build brand awareness
  • Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
  • Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to a brand
  • Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)

Key tasks include:

  • Act as a creative voice in meetings, staying up to date with social media content trends and an interest in the performance of our content
  • Acting as a brand guardian to inspire and maintain digital assets
  • Social media content and planning - take a creative approach to plan, write and craft organic monthly calendar posts across all social media platforms, in a variety of tones of voice.
  • Copywriting skills for social media are essential
  • Creating digital graphics for marketing campaigns across various channels (web banners, social ads, email, display)
  • Creating Social Media content for daily posting
  • Coordinate with external & internal photographers for regular lifestyle product shoots
  • Resizing, retouching and filing of new photography/assets
  • Support the core design team on critical projects
  • Excellent organisational skills: able to prioritise a large workload according to ever-changing business needs
  • A passion for design and a creative flair
  • A collaborative approach and meticulous level of detail in all endeavours
  • A self-starter, able to work autonomously and on their own initiative
  • Have an outstanding design portfolio covering a range of examples including digital, text and photography

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Excellent English writing and verbal ability, a great eye for research, and the ability to turn briefs around quickly
  • Excellent ability to focus on the customer / market and take initiative
  • A hard-working attitude and a willingness to assist at every opportunity
  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc) and Canva
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Emplifi - Social Media Marketing Platform (desirable)
  • Dot Digital or other email marketing platforms (desirable)
