You will be the working interface between the Construction Delivery and Design / Engineering Team and be confident in challenging proposed design information to support the smooth delivery to construction stages.

The Role as a Site / Setting Out Engineer:

• Maintain and interpret site drawings, Topographical and Construction Drawings.
• Setting out from the drawings, carrying out surveys when required.
• Use robotic instruments, lasers, levels.
• Maintain records, sites diary, quality assurance documentation etc
• Provide reports and as built information.
• Strong communication skills when attending and chairing meetings.
• Be the main point of contact for gangs, supervisors, sub-contractors and to assist in the progress of the project works.
• Be familiar with Temporary Works and fully conversant in the use of AutoCAD and data extraction.

Essential Criteria

• Valid PTS
• Own Setting out equipment
• Previous rail and civils experience
