Setting Out Engineer, Temporary, Location Dundee City Centre, Scotland, Rate 250 - 300 per day DOE

In this Setting out Engineering job role, You will be working on a new student accommodation project based in Dundee City Centre. Your new role

As a Setting out Engineer, you will have over 5 years of experience with a main contractor and be capable of Setting out all aspects of groundworks, concrete bases, piles and drainage. You will have a strong background in surveying, civil works, reports, and planning of works and can read technical drawings. You will be well versed with Auto CAD software and be capable of using GPS. This role will require you to be knowledgeable of UK Health & Safety requirements.

Main Duties include:

• Undertake Surveying and Setting out duties.
• Check drawings & quantities.
• Ordering material
• Planning and organising site activities to meet with the programme of works.
• Always promote a safe culture on site
• Supervise and monitor site labour / sub-contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Must hold a valid CSCS Card
