Job description

Job Title: Senior Web Developer
Location: Cardiff, UK
Salary: £55k, DOE.

Digital Waffle is working in partnership with a rapidly growing company that operates in the online property comparison market. Their platform is used by thousands of customers daily, helping them to find the best deals on their property purchases and moves. They are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team in Cardiff and help take their new platform to the next level.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain web applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks.
  • Work with the development team to define and implement technical solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Take ownership of technical projects and drive them through to completion.
  • Work with other teams in the company to understand their requirements and ensure that our technical solutions are aligned with their needs.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support to the wider team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and make recommendations for improving our technical stack.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Full Stack Development role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality web applications.
  • Expertise in a range of programming languages and frameworks, including but not limited to Symfony, Vue.JS, JavaScript, Craft CMS
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying applications using modern front-end frameworks and libraries.
  • Strong experience in back-end development, including API design and development, and database design and management.
  • Ability to lead and mentor other developers, providing guidance and support on technical projects.
