Job title: Senior Site Operations Manager

Location: Radway Green, Cheshire

Salary: Competitive- Dependent on experience and qualifications

What you’ll be doing:

• Reviewing operational capacity and capability, and planning and putting in place capacity and resources to meet future operational requirements consistent with IBP and business needs
• Ensuring systems are in place, maintained, monitored and managed to ensure safe working practices and working conditions consistent with business, Group and legislative requirements
• Planning, leading and controlling on-going operational and support processes and activities to ensure delivery of operational outputs to meet customer needs and business cost, schedule and quality requirements
• Monitoring and improving operational performance in terms of process and organisational efficiency
• Ensuring budgets and forecasts are in place and monitoring expense and income
• Reviewing external best practice and competitor activity to identify leading edge performance, engaging with employee representatives and reviewing working practices to identify opportunities for improvement

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

• Substantial operational experience
• Experience in leading CI with a proven track record of delivering improvement

Desirable

• Experience working on a high hazard COMAH site
• A degree in a manufacturing or manufacturing technologies discipline or equivalent qualification
• Digital/smart factory experience

The Site Operations team:

As a Senior Site Operations Manager, you will be an ambassador for the site and accountable for the site performance in its entirety. This role involves leading a operational management team and liaising directly with key stakeholders as well as leading a workforce of circa 200, which includes 6-8 direct reports.
