Hours- Full time hours 37.5hrs Monday to Friday

Salary Range- Competitive dependent upon skills and experience. This role is equivalent to a band 6 in the NHS.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior 2 Paediatric Occupational Therapist who will be involved with providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and interventions to your own caseload of children with highly complex needs. The role will give you the opportunity to cover both inpatients and outpatients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that a professional, high quality occupational therapy service is delivered to the children and their families within our inpatient and outpatient service.
• Work as an autonomous practitioner. Assess, sets goals, provides treatment and progresses own patient caseload which, contains patients with complex and specialist needs
• Promote OT to all stakeholders.
• Undertake ongoing CPD and audit, contribute to development of specialist services and relevant policies helping implement policy changes and monitoring standards of clinical practice & additional tasks as required and considered pertinent to the role.

Skills & Experience

• HCPC registered
• BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in Paediatrics
• Knowledge and application of paediatric OT assessments and interventions relevant to a paediatric client group.
