Salary: £34,032

What you’ll be doing:

• Promoting and complying the company SHE, Security, mandatory training and business requirements
• Representing the supply chain function at meetings regarding designated areas, provide update on material status and issues whilst taking appropriate actions to satisfy project schedule demands
• Producing KPI’s and reports to satisfy business requirements
• Ensuring the material issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Participating in the assessment of departmental policies and procedures on a periodic basis

Your skills and experiences:

• Proficient in the understanding of Material Control processes
• Experienced in interrogating data in a professional capacity
• Understanding of Material Delivery logistics
• People management or team leadership experience within similar industry

The Material Supplier team:

As a Senior Material Controller, you will be responsible for the readiness of materials across the business area, working with the Project team, Planning Function and Material suppliers closely. The role will provide you with the opportunity to progress your career within BAE systems, you will contribute to the overall growth of the team through training and coaching, We will also work you, supporting your progression.
