The Maritime and Coastguard Agency’s (MCA) Programme Delivery Directorate is responsible for delivery of all the major projects and programmes which are of high value and complexity, and the management of high value, operationally critical contracts. The Directorate is also responsible for ensuring that all projects and programmes deliver the intended outcomes and provide value for money.
The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and management of effective and efficient Project and Programme management processes. Leading on projects to ensure successful delivery on time, to budget and delivering the anticipated benefits.
This role will be based in the Southampton HQ. MCA supports flexible working and operates a hybrid working model between home and office for this role, giving you greater flexibility over where and when you work. Details of the arrangement will be discussed further with your line manager.

About you
To thrive in this role, you will bring experience of working on the delivery of infrastructure projects or programmes and can quickly adapt to changing requirements.
You are organised and have the ability to work on your own and as part of a team to deliver results to tight deadlines.
You have exceptional communication skills and can build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have experience of managing a service delivery contract.
