We’re looking for someone who thrives off adding value and finding innovative solutions to join our Network Solutions team as a Senior Data Administrator. You’ll be working within a likeminded team assessing the hydraulic impact on our sewer network of proposed development, to determine the impact and the risk, promote sustainable drainage solutions, to protect our assets for our wider customer base and protect the environment.


You’ll be an instrumental part of the Network Solutions team, within Developer Services leading in the development of robust technical assessments while meeting tight SLAs in line with the Company’s DMEX and statutory obligations.


We will consider anyone to be based out of the following locations - Barnhurst or Leicester.


EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW


Key accountabilities in helping us on our journey include -

  • Carrying out hydraulic assessments on the performance of our existing network, to determine the impact of proposed development for foul and surface water disposal without risk to our assets.
  • Liaise with internal teams, to promote growth within the network as well as liaise with developers and other customers, promoting the implementation of Company aims.
  • Supporting developer meetings and liaising with internal/external stakeholders to protect or divert existing assets.
  • Actively support the Company’s ‘Get River Positive’ campaign, by encouraging the use of SUDs and the hierarchy of surface water disposal.
  • Work closely with the team, and wider Developer Services Team to meet DMEX (Developer Services measure of experience) requirements.
  • Identifying root cause and mechanisms of network issues .
  • Coaching and developing the team to build capability, share knowledge and best practice .


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE


Experience of working closely with customers to enhance our reputation with strong stakeholder management skills. Accustomed to looking ahead to anticipate problems and develop plans to manage risks as well as experience of working to deadlines under pressure to continuously meet internal and external SLA targets.


It would be great if you have any understanding of sewer design and construction but if you tick all the other boxes and with the right approach we can support your learning and development with this.
