We are looking for a senior business analyst for the London based Charles River engineering team. The role will be concentrating on the CRD FX re-design program but will be expected to provide CRD analysis and support to the rest of front office trading including the on-going CRD SaaS migration project. The candidate must have expert CRD knowledge and have the ability to configure and maintain large areas of a CRD environment, preferably CRD V9+, including MWB. The candidate is expected to have good business knowledge with good understanding of the trading lifecycle and portfolio management techniques, they are also expected to have very good SQL coding skills. The incumbent will work in the CRD team in London but will liaise regularly with the CRD teams in Baltimore as well as the trading and investment personnel in London under the supervision of the CRD Engineering manager in London. The candidate must show a self starter attitude and exhibit expert communication and presentation skills.
In this role you will be:
A key member of the CRD FX-redesign team
Accomplished at presenting and delivering to senior stakeholders
Working closely with London trading and portfolio management business
Delivering best practice solutions for CRD environment
3rd line CRD support during UK business hours
Development of queries, blotters, MWB
Working closely with Baltimore CRD BA and dev teams

RESPONSIBILITIES
Defines complex or enterprise-wide business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes
Works closely and develops relationships with a variety of senior-level internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met
  • Ensures a lean agile mindset is applied across assigned business domain or portfolio
  • Works on initiatives of moderate complexity, size, and impact
Required skills and experience:
  • Charles River V9+ 5+ years minimum experience
  • Very good MSSQL 5+ years, comfortable writing procs, functions, triggers, queries
  • Front office trading experience
  • Banking domain knowledge
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions
  • Identifies system/process/data impacts (upstream and downstream) and proposes appropriate alternatives/remediation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable and able to learn quickly
