We are seeking to appoint a talented, engaging and inspirational Teacher of Science. The candidate will need to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students across all key stages. Teachers are expected to deliver all 3 aspects of the Science curriculum at Key Stage 3 and at least 2 of the 3 areas at Key Stage 4. The opportunity for Key stage 5 teaching will be available to a suitably qualified candidate. In addition to supporting the delivery of the Science curriculum all staff are expected to support with the monitoring of overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor; contribute to raising standards of student attainment, whilst sharing and supporting the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Department to ensure that the curriculum area provides a range of teaching and compliments the school’s strategic objectives.
