The role


Bank House, based in Lambeth, is an 84-bed mixed tenure Senior Living scheme. 59 units are rented, 6 are shared ownership and 19 units are owned by Tonic Housing. Tonic at Bank House, is the UK’s first LGBT+ affirming retirement community.

The role will be based at Bank House and will be key to ensuring the smooth running of the partnership with Tonic. You will work closely with Tonic staff and be their key point of contact for One Housing. You will liaise with internal departments and key stakeholders on behalf of the partnership and coordinate any tasks or projects that arise in relation to this.

Salary: £17,052

Hours: 21 hours per week (9 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension)

Shifts: 3 days a week. These will be set days with some flexibility required.

Location: Vauxhall, London.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Be the first point of contact for Tonic staff at scheme level
  • Attend regular meetings with Tonic staff and facilitate joint activities in the scheme
  • Attend Tonic Customer meetings when required to and follow up on relevant actions
  • Attend the partnership steering group meeting and liaise on behalf of Tonic with One Housing’s internal departments and teams.
  • Oversee the Service Level Agreement and associated KPI’s, including ensuring scheme-based staff attend LGBT+ training
  • Ensure brand values are adhered to, overseeing the aesthetics of the internal and exterior of the building
  • Coordinate and facilitate any projects related to the partnership

What you will need to succeed

  • Have experience of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Understand the needs and requirements of the older LGBT+ community members and an attitude that supports a commitment to equality and diversity and awareness of these specific needs.
  • Have excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Have a good level of IT skills and literacy
  • Be highly organised and able to work to conflicting deadlines
