This is a Casual Contract and your working hours will be scheduled and agreed between yourself and your Manager, on an as required basis.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be the face of Ford Parts Plus, delivering parts to our customers often multiple times per day in the South Wales area. You will provide an excellent service, taking time to get to know the customers and optimum routes.

The role will include;

Checking orders to be delivered, deal with anomalies and advise the warehouse team.

Gaining authorised signatures and printed names from customers for all parts delivered

Ensuring that receipts or payments are received for all parts delivered

Driving in a safe and courteous manner within the law at all times, ensuring driver behaviour guidelines are followed

As the face of Parts Plus maintaining a professional and smart appearance at all times (including your delivery vehicle) providing a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive and efficient van delivery service

Checking that all parts delivered match with the customer invoice

Achieving own sales targets through building excellent customer relationships

Ensuring compliance with business standards and processes, financial legal and ethical guidelines

In order to be successful for this position, you will;

Hold a clean driving licence

Have good verbal and communication skills

Be organised and efficient whilst being able to make responsible decisions

Effective time keeping and time management

Skills and experience required for this role;

Ideally 3 years’ experience within a similar role

Good geographical knowledge of the area

Affable and approachable demeanour

Ability to use your initiative under pressure
