Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Working closely with our Revenue team, Director of Revenue and Commercial Director, you’ll be instrumental in maximising resort revenue from rooms, conference & events business, leisure and golf
Adeptly optimising and maintaining our Revenue Management Systems
Proactively extracting, processing and analysing, generating relevant and insightful reports
You’ll be responsible for daily, weekly & monthly pick-up reporting and also producing reports for our travel consortia, travel, agents and tour operators
Inventory management, rate loading, updating and maintaining GDS/channel manger, you’ll also monitor and maintain rate parity and carry our benchmarking through OTA insights and STR
Working closely with our Digital Marketing team, you’ll assist with internet marketing campaigns
Support any ad-hoc revenue projects or admin tasks
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we're looking for:
Ideally you have at least two years’ relevant experience and a great track record in revenue management
You’re a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and you’re able to corroborate information across a variety of sources, you’re driven to understand the underlying key drivers of a business
Experienced in booking systems (ideally including Opera and RA), ), revenue management systems, GDS, OTA extranets and channel managers
You can lead from the front in handling bookings, dealing with complex guest requirements, and driving process improvements
Viewing information from a variety of stakeholder perspectives, and present this concisely and professionally is second nature to you; you’re also computer adept, with great experience in Excel.
Supremely reliable, you always ensure every job is completed to the highest standards consistently
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
