Are you a flexible Research Manager with literacy skills?

We are proud to be partnering with a great national charity that focuses on exploring historical conflicts. They are looking for a Research Manager with strong project management, financial and administrative skills to work across a range of activities to support the Research Department on a full-time basis for 2 months with a view to extend. Offering hybrid working.

You will work across different teams to contribute and deliver the priorities of the organisation. You will take on broad responsibilities. You will lead, manage and motivate colleagues, partners and volunteers. You will also coordinate learning and development opportunities. You will be responsible for the management of research projects, including preparing and monitoring budgets, communicating progress internally and externally and proactively seek funding opportunities. You will develop and produce accessible material. You will also ensure effective communication of the Research programme's goals and activities and organise board meetings, research seminars, workshops, and other events as required. You will frequently update research pages of the intranet and internet and write the annual Research Report.
