  • Are you passionate about fact-based decision making based on data and insight?
  • Would you like to work with others who are helping Britain achieve Net Zero?
  • Do you want to work in a company that’ll inspire and support you?

If so, this role could be perfect for you!

As a Reporting Analyst you’ll be working with key stakeholders across all the business – helping influence strategy and business activity through the design, production and delivery of people data and insight. You’ll also develop our systems to help teams access insightful people data.

‘’I love being an expert with data and data manipulation, being able to provide valuable insights to the business and using problem solving skills to work smarter. And using Tableau to give people access to self-serve information and get direct access to the information they require, being the first point of contact to resolve required questions raised by the business and using my knowledge of VBA to also work more efficiently.’ Simon West, Senior Reporting Analyst

The opportunity…

The Employees Services People Analytics Team (PA) is a key part of Human Resources (HR). PA provides all areas of employee data – covering both employees and contractors. You’ll use a variety of methods to provide this information including reporting, dashboarding, self-service access and bespoke analysis. You’ll also maintain the data within our HR systems. The People Analytics Team’s main aim is to support HR, and the business, in fully understanding our people.

The purpose of your role is to successfully create and build reporting solutions and deliver value by adding your analytic insight. You’ll work alongside the HR community and other customers, to improve business knowledge by using your technical skills. You’ll help with fact-based decision making, give assurance and continually look for areas which can be improved.

What we’re looking for…

Someone who enjoys building great working relationships! You’ll be engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business and support business questions, review hypothesis and challenge new requests.

You’ll have advanced numerical, analytical and data manipulation skills and have experience in using Tableau, creating dashboards and keep your skills fresh by attending webinars. Knowledge and experience of a system such as Success Factors will help you, and advanced Excel skills will be beneficial, due to the nature of your work. Key to the success in this role will be your communications skills, both verbally and written, and your ability to adapt to different audiences.
