Registry is a central professional service that provides support to key areas of the student journey – from Registration and Exams through to Graduation. Registry also has responsibility at institutional level for the maintenance of student systems and timetables, and ensuring compliance with Home Office requirements in relation to our international student visa sponsorships
Our Registry Administrator (Exams) will provide effective and efficient administrative support to Registry activities, in particular to Exams and Assessments. Working collegiately within a team you will administer all necessary arrangements for exams, including alternative arrangements for disabled students, within agreed operating procedures and published timescales. You will also provide administrative support across Registry as necessary and within agreed parameters with your line manager.
The successful candidate will be a skilled and organised administrator who can plan and manage their own workload and easily engage with colleagues and students in a friendly, professional way. They will demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, for example using VLOOKUP function and mail merges, and have experience in working with Student Information Management Systems or similar databases. They will be articulate, with strong attention to detail and be able to make good decisions and solve problems. They will be passionate about our mission as the University for the Common Good and always look for ways we can improve what we do.
