Fantastic opportunity for a CPC qualified Transport Manager to join a fast moving and dynamic 3PL. This role has a Peterborough base but with regional responsibilities covering the Southern area. If you come from a quality-focused industry in which you have gained experience of managing a multi-site transport operation, then this could be the ideal role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Transport function across the southern region; supporting individual Site General Managers to provide a safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of transport services.

• Drive compliance, ensuring full adherence to current legislation and industry standards while improving efficiencies and meeting operational requirements, KPI’s and SLA targets.

• Create and maintain a high-performing culture within the driver network, fostering a customer focused transport environment.

• Seek out and implement effective improvement opportunities

• Proactively respond to change or issues relating to service levels

Key Skills/Experience:

• Must hold a Transport Management CPC qualification

• Must have multi-site management experience

• Strong business acumen

• Results driven and commercially minded

• Experience of working with budgets and KPI’s

• Strong communication skills

A National CPC and up-to-date knowledge of transport regulations are essential as you’ll be responsible for the legal compliance of a large Core Fleet.
