Regional Director - Specialist Care & Education Services
Remote - North of England
£100,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
Have extensive experience as a senior strategic manager in the children's social care sector.
Have managed a successful portfolio of either specialist schools or residential services.
Possess a thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations.
Have strong commercial awareness and a background of commercial success in the sector.
Compass Associates have partnered with a leading provider of specialist children's residential and education services to a recruit a Regional Director to oversee care and education services in the north of England.
THE ROLE
As Regional Director, you will be responsible for a portfolio of schools, residential schools and care homes (as applicable) within the organisation; the role has significant strategic and operational responsibility and is charged with ensuring that schools and residential services deliver all elements of performance. Notably managing development plans, budgets, maintaining/improving quality, and overseeing growth in the region. You will lead change initiatives, raise standards and work within a multisite environment to ensure that the organisation continues to deliver excellent outcomes for the young people they look after.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an experienced multi-site operator and will be confident in finding innovative ways to support the business. A background within either social care or specialist education is essential, as the client is looking for someone who has the knowledge and skills to operate at a strategic level and overcome challenges which are specific to the sector. As such, a thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and a strong track record of consistently high inspection ratings is essential for this position.
The position requires somebody who is motivated and enthusiastic, with a willingness to get stuck in and show a dedicated approach to ensuring that services and schools are running efficiently and delivering upon the high standards that their clients expect.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
This will be a three-stage process.
Stage 1: A phone call with one of the business' experienced Regional Directors.
Stage 2: A Teams call with the Managing Director and Regional Director.
Stage 3: A face-to-face interview with the Managing Director and CFO.
Candidates will also be required to complete a psychometric test.
