We have on offer a fixed term contract* for a part-time (up to 22 hours) Recruitment Assistant. You would be joining a well-established, expanding team situated in Trowbridge however, the successful candidate will have the flexibility of working in the office and/or at home on the proviso that they work at least 1 day a week in the office.
Equipment i.e., laptop, mouse, keyboard (where needed), and full training are provided.
About the role
The Recruitment Team sits within HR&OD and is responsible for a breadth of activities that relate to the way the council attracts recruits, develops, and retains its employees with the aim of creating a flexible, highly-skilled, and capable workforce.
This opportunity focuses on but is not exclusive to our traded services which include the accurate and timely processing of job advertising requests for schools and third parties, the placement and promotion of roles on several job boards and social media platforms, and a complete 360 recruitment process for Head Teacher vacancies and third-party organisations.
Communicating with customers via email and phone (microsoft teams) you may occasionally be expected to attend local networking and/or career events to showcase our traded offer.
About you
You will already actively use or have no objections to using our Wilts Promoting Partners Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin pages to promote adverts and relevant engaging content for our traded customers.
With excellent written / language and numerical skills and will be able to communicate effectively at all levels whilst full training will be given for this role, you will need to be quick to adapt and can organise your own time and work to tight deadlines.
Ideally, you will have some past admin experience but if you are proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, outlook, etc) and have a genuine willingness to learn the rest can be taught.
