We are looking to recruit an ambitious & passionate pub cook for the New Inn. We run a classic British menu, with the opportunity to create and serve seasonal specials.

The right person will have

• 2 years cooking experience
• Experience of working in a pub environment
• Good work ethic
• Team player

An opportunity to join a small, friendly team your responsibilities will include:

• Food preparation and presentation in accordance with restaurant standards and quality
• Menu creation/options based on seasonal changes and customer demands
• Inform staff about daily specials
• Ensure appealing plate presentation
• Assisting with stock management & ordering; wastage
• Maintain quality and hygiene standards and implements safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

Full or part time hours considered. (Split shifts are operated)

Kitchen opening hours

• Monday Closed
• Tuesday 12-3pm 6-9pm
• Wednesday 12-3pm 6-9pm
• Thursday 12-3pm 6-9pm
• Friday 12-3pm 6-9pm
• Saturday 12-3pm 6-9pm
• Sunday 12-4pm carvery service

Experience:

• chef de partie: 1 year (preferred)
• 2 years experience working in a kitchen (required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 18-30 per week

Salary: £12.00 per hour
