As the exclusive UK dealer for one of Europe’s best-known and reputable dust extraction suppliers, AL-KO of Germany, my client is pushing ahead with ambitious growth plans.
With the support of experienced sales and after-sales teams, ongoing training from AL-KO, access to a large customer base and a dedicated promotional drive, this is a great chance to help drive and be involved in all project stages of the growth of a successful operation.
The Role of Project Engineer:
Taking ownership of projects from the initial enquiry and design stage through to the final supply- Aiding with the installation, commissioning and testing of extraction systems
- Liaising with third parties
- Working closely with sales and after-sales teams
- Communication with customers while on site
Minimum Skills / Experience Required for Project Engineer:
- Previous experience working in specification, installation and testing of dust extraction equipment and associated ducting design (Ideally within a woodworking environment)
- Holds training/qualifications relevant to ventilation systems e.g. P601 and P602 (Desirable - the company would look to put you through this training!)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation is beneficial (e.g., HSG258, DSEAR, ATEX etc.)
- Previous experience of LEV testing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Clean UK driving licence
Package and Benefits:
- Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

- 33 days holiday total (increases with service)

- Entered into bonus pool after 12 months

- OT x1.25 weekdays, x1.5 Saturdays, x2 Sundays
