Trelleborg Antivibration Solutions (AVS) develops and manufactures vibration components and system solutions. These are used in the rail vehicle industry, wind energy, agricultural and construction machinery as well as various selected industrial applications. Summary of the Role:

As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible coordination of new products and projects as identified by the project management criteria, defining the internal processes and requirements. The project coordinator will ensure that all customer requirements are met up to and including the completion of the first serial production quantity.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of new produced products from concept to serialization, lead relevant project teams, run project meeting and report to the steering committee;
  • Maintain a project relevant risk management;
  • Owner of relevant processes, monitor and report on KPIs, take needed actions on deviations, conduct process reviews and continuous process improvement involving all stakeholders;
  • Adherence of the policies and objectives for relevant management system standards, customer, statutory and regulatory requirements cascaded by the senior management team.;
  • Responsibility for meeting the requested project timeline, quality and costs. Secure the production date (SOP), correct delivery quantity and the project cost for new produced or reactivated products;
  • Communication and Coordination of customer requirements and specification across the relevant departments;
  • Coordinating and liaising with the relevant departments, acting as a central contact point for the end to end to process, ensuring deadlines are met;
  • Compiling or sourcing all the necessary documentation within the project folder including synchronization of master data in the ERP, CRM, IDM etc. and its further maintenance;
  • Change management including design process and associated costs;
  • Continuous improvement of the work processes and approaches, with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Support all external certifications driven by the quality department as well as customer product acceptance inspection or costumer audit.

Experience:

This position calls for an individual educated to degree level or equivalent and or 3-5 years of project coordination or similar role in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have the relevant technical process experience within the rubber to metal bonding industry. It is an advantage that the candidate is proficient in the use of CRM and ERP systems.

Competencies:

Communication is a key part of this role as you will be interactive with our customers and internal partners. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has the ability to communicate professionally with confidence and concisely. To ensure that you are effective in this role, you must be able to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills. If you can also demonstrate that you can resolve problems to a commercially successful outcome, then you could be an ideal candidate.
