Brunel Design School, as part of Brunel University London, is recognised as one of the best places in the world to study and undertake research by the QS subject ranking, and a top design education provider within the UK university sector. The Additive Manufacturing and 4D Printing Research Group, part of Brunel Design School, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Project Coordinator with administration duties, as part of its growing team and portfolio of international R&D projects. This role requires candidates to:
The successful applicant is expected to have a high level of initiative and an ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required and the ability to quickly adapt to a multinational environment is advantageous. The ideal candidate will need to be confident in updating webpages, operating Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook to facilitate project and team operations effectively. Experience of maintaining a social media presence would be an advantage. Knowledge of 3D Printing is desirable, but not essential as this can be learned. A degree or equivalent in Business / Marketing / Design is required. At times, local and overseas travelling would be required for this role.
This role will enhance the candidate’s existing skills, in particular for project management and coordination, as well as to build a portfolio of social media content. It will contribute to a candidate’s continuous professional development through available training and academic networks. This is a fixed term, full time post for 12 months.
