Department

The Department of Education is seeking to appoint an administrator to join the internationally-recognised University of York Science Education Group (UYSEG). The role will be to support the science curriculum development work being undertaken with Oak National Academy. This role is available on a 0.6FTE fixed term basis, from now until 19 July 2024.

Role

You will be joining a team within UYSEG to support a large-scale project. The work will include managing project finances and communications (including social media accounts), tracking project progress against key milestones, arranging and supporting team meetings.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

  • The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification. (Qualifications at this level include A levels. Please view the full list). We also welcome applicants with equivalent non-UK qualifications or equivalent professional experience
  • The successful candidate will be able to gather, analyse, interpret and report data/information
  • They will work collaboratively with others
  • Use digital technologies including Google applications and/or Microsoft Office is essential.
  • They will be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats, including the use of a variety of digital tools.
