Position: Warehouse First Line Manager
Location: Swindon, SN3 4TT
Customer: Marks and Spencer
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: 14:00pm - 22:00pm. 5 from 7 rotating - 1 in 3 weekends will be worked
Salary - £30,000.00

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Managing a team of 20 direct reports
• Responsible for 1 to 1's, return to works, disciplinaries, health and safety and investigations
• Communicating objectives and KPI's within the team and monitor performance in line with them
• Conducting performance meetings, discussing the shift's needs and priorities, ensuring that actions are taken by the team
• Implementation of directed actions and strategic plans to reduce and eliminate health and safety related risks

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Must have relevant warehouse management experience - this can be managing or as a team leader
• Experience managing a team
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution
