Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm)
Over 3 – 4 days
Salary over 23’s £13,004.16
21-22 £12,704.64
18 – 20 £9,347.52

The successful candidate should have good organisational and planning skills and have experience of working in a small but busy warehouse environment.
Due to the remoteness of our Hapton HQ site, all applicants would need their own transport.

JOB PURPOSE
Receive, sort and prepare the Sanctuary’s Preloved donations for sale adhering to guidance from our Standard Operating Procedures. Manage sales of Preloved items on eBay and shop, maximising income opportunities for donated new and preloved items.

Education/Qualifications
Experience
Previous work experience. Experience of working as part of a team.
Skills/Ability/Knowledge
Ability to prioritise daily tasks. Have keen attention to detail and accuracy. Strong IT skills. Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. Excellent literacy and numeracy. Effective time management skills.Physically fit with ability to lift and carry and be on your feet all day whilst working at the Visitor Centre/supporting events. Research Skills.
Qualities/Attributes
To be a self-motivator. To be flexible ‘can do’ approach to the role, particularly during busy periods.

Working for a charity and working with supporters and volunteers. Retail experience. Experience of working in a front of house or a visitor attraction environment. Listing items on eBay.

Prior knowledge of Redwings. Basic level of equine knowledge and experience. Social media skills and ecommerce experience/knowledge.
