Pre-Operative Assessment Diagnostics HCA| Pre-Operative | Band 3 depending on experience | Regency – Macclesfield | Part time 22.5 hours per week | Permanent

Spire Regency are now recruiting a Pre-Operative Assessment Diagnostics HCA to join their warm and friendly team

Spire Regency offers a comprehensive range of medical and surgical treatments to patients from South Cheshire, which allows you to expand your knowledge and experience, and allows you to work across both the wards and day case unit.

The Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield, South Cheshire opened in 1991 and is currently undergoing extensive site wide modernisation and upgrading state of the art equipment. We practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures across a range of specialist fields like orthopaedics, cosmetics and general surgery -all delivered through our expert and caring clinical teams. Duties and responsibilities

  • To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in the Pre-Operative Assessment (POA) Department.
  • Running a pre-op clinic, you will be taking bloods, taking swabs and doing patient observations such as blood pressure, height and weight and conducting ECGS on patients.

Who we're looking for

  • Health and Social Care level 3 or 4 or CARE Certificate
  • Hospital experience is essential
  • Must have bloods and ECGS experience
  • Able to work autonomously within your scope of practice.
  • Excellent time management skills
