Faststream are assisting a global Oil & Gas client to recruit a new member of staff to join as a Plant Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career and join a well-known company.

The Company -
They are a global Oil & Gas company that covers a vast number of areas in the Energy world. From fabrication to procurement to Renewables and Upstream production. This position would be working out of the Grangemouth facility for my client.

Role Details -

You will be providing maintenance functions to the process team to make sure that all plant and equipment is kept in order to minimise down time and loss of production time. Help with inspections and making sure all isolations and mechanical disconnections are made and/or in place.

A major part of this role will be monitoring the progress of work, arranging permits, review risk assessments, review lifting plans and confined space work and managing work scopes for contractors.

For this role the ideal candidate would have worked on a COMAH site or equivalent recently. You would need to be experienced with LOLER regulations, solid understanding of PUWER and COSHH regulations with a strong mind set on HSE. If you have experience with permit to work system, confined space or working at height these would also stand out. Having a can do / positive attitude, have good leadership and people skills and can work under pressure to deal with last minute changes or instances.

You must be able to work/live in the UK for this role.
