The role

As a Training Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll undertake the planning and programming of all course timetables.


Day to day, you’ll allocating trainers to lessons, allocating resources such as equipment and classrooms and will also be delivering the course timetables.


  • Deliver all course timetables and associated administration of the Schools’ courses, working with Lead Trainers and Lead Lecturers
  • Ensure that all timetables are prepared and finalised at least 8 weeks in advance of course commencement date
  • Assist the training administration team as necessary, to manage course loading on TAFMIS and to maintain the accuracy of data held within the system
  • Assist in the population and update of the school prospectus
  • Utilise the Information Management systems in support of tasking


Essential experience of the Training Planner

  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Experience in use of MS Office applications
  • Admin experience

This is a full-time role based on site at Lyneham.


The successful candidate must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance level for this role.
