Job Description
The Woodbridge Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) has an exciting opportunity available to work as a Band 5 Physiotherapist in the community. This position will be working alongside our established team of therapists and being offered on a permanent basis at 30 hrs per week.
Community experience would be an advantage, but full training and support will be provided.
Due to this post being a community position it is essential for the successful candidate to be able to drive from day one of employment.
The Woodbridge Integrated Neighbourhood team is based in Melton and provides multidisciplinary care to the surrounding locality. The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, District & Community Nurses, Assistant Practitioners, Generic Workers, and Social Workers. The team is led by an INT Manager, supported by a Care Coordinator and Administrator.
The team is busy, dynamic, and proud of their holistic care approach. The team continues to change to support developments in NHS which includes close working relationships with the local statutory, non-statutory and voluntary services. You will be actively supported by regular supervision and individual annual appraisal. You will be expected to work autonomously and on behalf of the patients served by the local area. You will have access to skills development training relevant to the post. You will be required to work shifts covering the operational hours of 08:00 to 18:00 over 7 days.
The role will include a comprehensive induction into the community service followed by a local induction to introduce you to the role. We pride ourselves on the holistic care approach we provide from initial assessment to identify the needs of our community patients.
Your duties will be to provide holistic therapeutic assessments of patient goals to implement management plans and strategies. This role will also include working with the wider Integrated and multidisciplinary team, including MDT meetings. We offer a variety of training to up skill and maintain your clinical skills. Although we are expecting our staff to work autonomously, we are a very supportive team and work closely together to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.
