Permanent Workload Scheduler - Belper
Salary: £ 26,208 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Belper, Derbyshire
HOURS: 39.5 hours per week
Hours of work will between 08:00am - 18:00pm (Monday to Friday), will involve occasional weekends
Saturday's working 08:00 - 15:00
Sunday's 08:00 -12:00
Rotas are advised 5 weeks advance.
You will be required to work one Saturday in three and one Sunday in eight (subject to business requirement).

Please note this role will be site based initially but there could be potential for hybrid/remote working however this would be after successful training and 6-month probation period has been completed.

What is involved working as a Workload scheduler?

  • Provide effective diary management utilising an automated platform to schedule external field agent's workload in line with their daily capabilities.
  • Control, manage and release engineer resource capacity to 3rd party clients through portal platforms.
  • Oversee and optimise planned workload ensuring maximum efficiency is achieved.
  • Accurately manage "Down Time" of the field resource, to manage resource and workload.
  • Utilise reports to align workload demands against resource capabilities.
  • Take responsible for diary housekeeping and maintenance of planned workloads.
  • Work within process to secure accurate links between data management and scheduling of resource to align with forecast requirements
  • Deliver effective communication to internal and external customers in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Provide support to the Operational Scheduling and Spares agents when required.


What we are looking for?

  • Experience and knowledge of an Automated Scheduling platformYou will be computer literate with the ability to understand reports and data.
  • Excellent communication skills and be confident to communicate with management team and external clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work to deadlines
  • Organisational skills with the capability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Highly approachable with good interpersonal /soft skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working with the Salesforce CRM platform would be beneficial howevertraining can be provided.
  • Experience in working with customer data bases for scheduling appointments.
