About you...

Looking for an experienced, hardworking and passionate Pastry Chef to support and guide the pastry section. The role will encapsulate all elements of baking, the making of pastries, desserts and breads. The successful pâtissier will love every element of this role and have a deep passion for creating stunning food to the highest standard.

Artistic - Perfectionist - Creative pastry Genius is what we are ideally looking for.

Responsibilities...

• Have an eye for detail on the plate and offer a consistent result every time.
• Be able to make a variety of breads, desserts, puff pastry / shortcrust pastry / Phyllo pastry / French Pastry and be at the forefront of wanting to expand this.
• Work hand in hand with the team to Produce top quality food.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting food in accordance with hotel standards.
• Ensuring dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with recipes.
• Ensuring that all staff entering kitchen areas are in compliance with food hygiene (HACCP) and safety regulations.
• Assisting with staff training and development.
• Managing and resolving any issues that may arise quickly and efficiently.
• Contribute to business strategy discussions to ensure the maximum results for the business are achieved.
• Motivate the kitchen team by being confident through your personality, being dynamic and positive at all times, and leading from the front.
• Promote a positive attitude and display the ability to ‘make things happen’

Skills/experience...

• Previous experience in similar role essential.
• Food and Hygiene – Level 2.
• Worked within hotel industry.
